Malaysia seeks four North Koreans over Kim Jong-nam murder

A man believed to be Kim Jong Nam in 2001

Malaysian police have announced the arrest of a fourth suspect, a North Korean, in the death of the half brother of the North Korean leader.

The North Korean embassy officially requested on Thursday, for the body of Kim Jong Nam to be released by Malaysia, having earlier tried in vain to persuade Malaysian authorities not to carry out an autopsy. He sought help at a customer service desk and said 'two unidentified women had swabbed or had wiped his face with a liquid and that he felt dizzy, ' Noor Rashid said Sunday.

It is understood Jong-chol graduated in chemistry and medicine from a North Korean university in 2000, later working in chemistry research in India.

Tito Karnavian told the Associated Press that Siti Aisyah, 25, received payment to be involved in a prank for Just For Laughs, a popular TV show.

Kim Jong Nam had spoken out publicly against his family's dynastic control of the isolated, nuclear-armed North Korea.

Among them was a journalist from a South Korea's English daily Kyung Hang, who wanted to be known only as Syim.

Speaking in Seoul, Jeong Joon-hee, South Korean Unification Ministry spokesman, said: "Considering North Korea has so far committed crimes against humanity and terror acts, we, together with the global community, are closely watching this brutal, reckless incident with serious concerns".

A fifth North Korean man is already in custody as are an Indonesian woman, a Malaysian man and a woman with a Vietnamese passport.

If the government's case succeeds, Landis acting as the whistleblower stands to get a cut of the damages. "Landis attorney Paul D. In 2013, Armstrong confessed to knowingly using performance-enhancing drugs during an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Mr Kim was apparently poisoned in a shopping area on Monday.

"That includes North Korea".

"I am not going disclose where they are", he said, adding that Interpol was helping with the investigation.

Kim Jong Nam, 46, was the eldest son of the late North Korean leader Kim Jong Il, the father of current leader Kim Jong Un, 33.

Noor Rashid said Sunday that he expected autopsy results to be released within days. Kim Jong-un issued a standing order for Kim Jong-nam's death, and an attempt was made on his life in 2012. The North has accused Malaysia of "colluding with outside forces" to damage North Korea's worldwide image. The case has also sparked a diplomatic row between Pyongyang and Kuala Lumpur, after Malaysia rejected demands quickly to hand the body over to the North.

"We are trying very hard to get the next of kin to come and assist us in the investigation", said Noor Rashid, but no such family member had yet come forward.

Kang Chol, North Korea's ambassador to Malaysia, said that Malaysia may be "trying to hide something" and that the autopsy was carried out 'unilaterally and excluding our attendance'.
