Several injured in ax attack at Dusseldorf train station

Dusseldorf station terror axeman

According to initial reports a man wielding an axe entered the station and injured two people.

Two people are reported to have been arrested and helicopters are scouring the scene after what is feared to have been a terror attack.

The station has been sealed off by armed police and trains are not stopping at the station.

A federal police spokesman told the AFP news agency that other suspects may be at large, but it was not clear how many people were being sought.
