Tulsa police release video of Madison Dickson confrontation

Video: Violent suspect hit by police car in pursuit

Incredible dash cam video released by the Tulsa police Thursday shows the moment that gun-wielding Madison Sueann Dickson is mowed down by a cop vehicle. Officers are heard informing dispatchers that multiple shots had been fired.

On Saturday, officers tracked Dickson down to an apartment complex near 81st and Sheridan.

Officer Grafton was in his vehicle when he located Dickson.

While running, she turns her torso toward the approaching police cruiser and points the gun toward the vehicle.

Dickson points the gun at Officer Jonathan Grafton's patrol auto as he struck Dickson with his vehicle.

KFOR reports that Dickson "was wanted for a string of gun-related crimes, including shooting one man in the head and shooting a woman in the arm during an attempted carjacking". She has a black object in her right hand that police later identified as a gun.

Tennessee Unemployment Rate in February drops to 5.3 Percent
John Slenker, state labor analyst, said the January number didn't surprise him due to the fact that 2016 was a good year for jobs. Last month's biggest gains were made in the government, construction and education and health service sectors.

A few hours before that shooting, Tulsa police announced that they had tied Dickson to a series of gun-related crimes committed on March 11 and 12.

Officer Kayla Johnson and Detective Ronnie Leatherman are the officers who fired their weapons at her. She is then seen falling and going beneath the hood of the vehicle.

The officers directly involved in the incident are on routine leave with pay while the investigation is completed.

Dickson died in the hospital after the incident.

When police tracked down Dickson last Saturday, the wanted woman fled in a truck before eventually exchanging gunfire with cops, according to the Tulsa World.

Dickson's family said she was a good girl gone wrong, getting mixed up the wrong crowd which led to a shooting spree in which she shot two people in the week leading up to her death.
