Fiancee of ex-NFL star testifies in his double-murder trial

Aaron Hernandez Might Actually beat His Double Murder Charge After All

The fiancee of National Football League star Aaron Hernandez claims she never pressed him about his friend being shot because she'd "learned to keep my mouth shut" as she testified in his double murder trial.

Jenkins-Hernandez, who never married Hernandez but legally changed her last name, also said that "it was a sad situation but why would I press on that?"

Jenkins said she never asked details about Bradley's shooting.

Hernandez's brother, Jonathan "DJ" Hernandez, was originally expected to testify Tuesday. He has also pleaded not guilty to a witness intimidation for allegedly shooting Bradley in Florida in 2013. He testified that it didn't appear there were any issues between the two men but made it clear he was intoxicated for much of the post-Super Bowl celebration.

Stay on topic - This helps keep the thread focused on the discussion at hand.

Prosecutors said Hernandez killed Safiro Furtado and Daniel de Abreu in 2012 after a brief encounter in a Boston nightclub. And she didn't seem to recall whether she ever spoke with Hernandez about the shooting.

Deulofeu's goal - from a Jordi Alba cross - was awarded after a conversation between the referee and the assistant that lasted about a minute.

Jenkins-Hernandez said Bradley's wasn't a friend of hers, although he had come round to their home and eaten with them, so she didn't believe him being shot in the face was worth asking Hernandez about.

During that time, they were asked to read through some-400 text messages between Hernandez and Bradley, the prosecution's star witness.

Once Thompson took the stand, he talked about how he knew Hernandez and what their relationship was like.

Her fiance, a former Patriots tight end, is already serving a life sentence for Lloyd murder.

"Now u sure once I withdraw this lawsuit I wont be held on perjury after I tell the truth about me not recalling anything about who shot me", Bradley wrote to attorney Robert Pickering. He said he wanted to tell a pending grand jury that he didn't know who shot him in the face to spare Hernandez criminal charges but was anxious doing so would open himself to perjury charges because in the civil suit he swore under oath that it was Hernandez who did it. In particular, she said she did not remember receiving a phone call from him at 2:30 a.m. on the night of the killings. His lawyer told the jury during opening statements that Bradley shot the men over a drug deal.
