Kevin Durant will start Warriors' final three games

Kevin Durant given the all clear ready to play on Saturday

Kevin Durant has been medically cleared to resume full practice beginning Friday and is scheduled to play in Saturday's home game against New Orleans if he experiences no setbacks.

Durant has been sidelined since he sprained the MCL in his knee and suffered a tibia bone bruise February 28 at Washington but Golden State hoped all along to have KD back before the regular season ended - and now the Warriors are riding a 13-game winning streak and have secured the Western Conference's No. 1 seed.

The Warriors said Durant completed several workouts in recent days.

Kevin Durant is set for a return to the Golden State Warriors against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The team's training staff and coaches will monitor Durant, but there is no plan for a firm restriction on playing time. That's my favorite thing to do is to play basketball.

Lloyds to shrink hundreds of United Kingdom branches to two staff
Last month, RBS and NatWest announced that 158 further branches would close, while HSBC is planning to shut 62 branches this year. Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. boosted its position in Lloyds Banking Group PLC by 18.2% in the fourth quarter.

The team conducted a scrimmage for the first time in a month in order to get Durant a good run leading up to his return, and Kerr said his All-Star forward "looked good".

Otherwise, Durant said he knew he could overcome the injury.

Warriors star guard Stephen Curry is listed doubtful for Saturday's game with a left knee contusion, but Durant is not concerned about accumulating reps with the two-time MVP before postseason play. So to be away, it was different. "At some point, I would just have to throw myself in the fire. So, that day is here and I'm thankful". Durant can take the last three games of the season, and the first round of the playoffs, to slide back into a grove. In doing so, they became the first team in National Basketball Association history to win at least 65 games in three-straight campaigns.

It remains to be seen how Durant's return will impact the Warriors.

Still, it's hard to think they wouldn't welcome back the 25.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.6 blocked shots per game Durant brings to the floor.
