Microsoft reveals more new features are coming soon

But Microsoft's announcement says "Each Windows 10 feature release will be serviced and supported for 18 months".

Following the release of the Windows 10 Creators Update, Microsoft has rolled out a number of new features to Insiders that will, in theory, become part of its Redstone 3 update, which is expected to roll out towards the end of the year.

According to The Verge, Microsoft's twice-a-year update will occur every March and September. Moreover, Microsoft is adding a lot of new Office 365 application compatibility, upgrade assessment tools and monitoring, to try to make Office 365 ProPlus upgrades much easier. But more importantly, the latest major update brings about changes on the core operating system and user policies.

Companies who keep their users on the Current Branch for Business deployment ring will still see those feature updates delayed by roughly four months after Microsoft makes them generally available.

This unofficial patch means that affected users no longer have to choose between their preferred version of Windows, their chosen CPU, and their usage of Windows Update. Now, a GitHub user known as Zeffy has published a fix that allows users to continue receiving updates.

People are freaking out over Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino
Here's the thing about Starbucks' latest drink: If you don't like the color or flavor, just give it a stir. Starbucks may have taken inspiration from a similar food fad from a few months ago - unicorn lattes.

The company shipped its latest preview build of Windows 10 on Tuesday, and this comes with a new power throttling feature. The Redmond software maker has today confirmed that it plans to release Redstone 3 in September this year.

On the Office side, Microsoft noted that starting October 13, 2020, Office 365 ProPlus or Office perpetual in mainstream support will be required to connect to Office 365 services. It seems like the Windows 10 Creators Update not only provides greater creative features but giving IT administrators an easy task ahead in setting up larger organizations.

Microsoft asserts that Windows 10 is the quickest-adopted version of the operating system and is on over 400 million active devices.

Microsoft hopes that this new change of pace will help its enterprise customers adopt Windows 10 and plan for the updates six months in advance. Microsoft also notes that Power Throttling is the testing name, and when the feature releases commercially, it may be called something else.
