Janet shared the first

According to sources, Janet and Wissam are now separating but no divorce has been filed.

Gil Duldulao, Janet Jackson's longtime pal and creative director, took to social media to defend his best friend, saying that there's no way that the singer is after a hefty divorce settlement.

Jackson and Al Mana, 42, quietly married in 2012 after two years of dating.

"Having a baby has upped her desire to release positive music and she wants her new songs to be a celebration of life, love and motherhood", a source told The Sun newspaper.

To the most lovely person in the world, thank you for your divine love, your eternal support and for being my best friend.

Janet Jackson's husband Wissam Al Mana wrote a heartfelt letter to the superstar on his website amid reports that the couple are estranged. One unconfirmed report estimated that Jackson could get $100 million if the marriage lasted five years, and another $100 million because she and Al Mana had a son together.
