Kim Si-woo becomes youngest victor of The Players Championship

The PGA Championship is the European Tour's flagship event, while the PGA Tour is a season of tournaments played mainly in the United States. He was the only player who didn't commit a bogey in the final round.

He became just the fourth player to win two PGA tournaments before the age of 22, a list that also contains names such as Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth and Sergio Garcia. At the end of the day, he's just like you and me. Adding, "I'm looking forward to working hard from now on".

The South Korean, 21, claimed a three-shot victory on Sunday, finishing clear of Ian Poulter and Louis Oosthuizen to become the youngest victor in the history of the "fifth major". At 21 years, 10 months and 16 days, Kim is the youngest victor of the tournament considered the fifth major on the PGA Tour.

"The difference between my first victory and this one is that I am now confident I can win a major", he said. As tough as the Players Stadium Course played, his best chance was waiting for Kim to make a mistake, just like so many other players. He's the second-highest-ranked Asian player after Hideki Matsuyama, No. 3 from Japan.

Yet, we might not get to see him for another two years.

Cabrera Bello finished in a tie for fourth position with Kyle Stanley behind Kim, Louis Oosthuizen and Ian Poulter who tied for second.

Kim offered no visible signs of pain Sunday, as he birdied three holes on the front nine to go out in 3-under 33 and parred the entire back nine to shoot a closing 3-under 69 and finish at 10 under, three shots clear of the field.

1 - It was a second PGA Tour title for Kim - he won the Wyndham Championship previous year.

"I still can't believe I'm the champion, and I'm the youngest champion", said Kim. "And I'm very glad I could practice with him".

Sean Spicer under fire during crucial week for Trump
Huckabee Sanders conducted the daily White House press briefing in Spicer's place Wednesday. This is only the second time in history that an FBI Director has been let go.

Choi even gave the youngster some advice before the round. "That's why I could do well".

He finished three strokes behind South Korea's Si Woo Kim and showed the fighting quality that has made him so popular with fans around the world. Kim's start this week was his 61st.

Though keen to try and maintain momentum after his big win, Kim will take time out to heal.

"€I really wish we could have that benefit", he said.

Now he's here to stay for at least the next five years, and based on his game, probably much longer.

Once Kim dropped his three birdies putts, he was unrelenting, especially when he made par saves on six of the back-nine holes.

What's the first thing you do after winning the Players Championship and the accompanying $1.89 million prize?

Lucas Glover (70), who was 5-under through 11 holes, briefly came within one of Kim, but bogeyed Nos.
