Rolf Harris to be freed from jail tomorrow on bail

Rolf Harris court case

Rolf Harris has been released from prison after spending nearly three years behind bars.

The former TV star walked out of Stafford Prison today having been granted bail on Friday morning.

"The jury in Harris" latest trial was not told why he was in prison.

The court is now hearing evidence from the second alleged victim, who claims Rolf assaulted her at a sports event in Cambridge when she was 16 years old.

Harris denies accusations of groping the three women when they were teenagers in the years 1971, 1978, and 1983.

She said the first time he touched her breast, she was not sure it was an accident but the second time he squeezed her and told her she was "a little bit irresistible".

Harris has been watching the court proceedings via video link from Stafford Prison in the English Midlands after receiving permission to do this because of his age.

Courtois: Title Win Under Conte Would Top 2015
Let's just hope that this weekend is a double celebration of a Premier League win and a new deal for the manager rolled into one. It was the second time Fabregas had two assists in one game this campaign.

ROLF Harris was known as "groper Rolf" by the family of a woman who says he assaulted her when she was 16, a London court heard.

"I've said he's a fraud, he's a groper, he's a dirty old man".

She told jurors: "I was in shock because I couldn't comprehend what had just happened".

The jury was not told why he was in prison or how long his sentence was.

A source told the Sunday People last month that Rolf was "counting down the days" until his release, adding: "He isn't enjoying jail life at all and is desperate to get out". She said when Mr Harris had been arrested in 2013 her friends and family had phoned her with the news but she remained reluctant to come forward.

The 87-year-old - who was pictured this morning stepping out of a vehicle back at his £5million home in Bray, Berkshire - went on trial on Monday accused of using his fame to molest three schoolgirls.
