YOUR WEATHER AUTHORITY: Showers, thunderstorms in Tuesday forec

There is a chance of showers today and Sunday, but it shouldn't be an all-day rain situation.

After some morning scattered showers, there is a chance of severe thunderstorms to our west which will likely weaken this evening and tonight (8PM to 12AM) as they approach our area. Monday and Tuesday, however, are expected to be mostly sunny, with highs near the upper 80s and low 90s.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84.

We have almost a carbon copy of yesterday again today with a mainly dry start, then another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Saturday night, a chance of showers and thunderstorms. A stray severe thunderstorm is possible through evening becoming more widespread overnight. Sunday will feature a little more sunshine, a lessening of the higher humidity and a smaller chance (30 percent) of an afternoon t-shower.

Friday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

On Friday, T-storms will become more spotty across all of central IN, especially during the afternoon.
