She’s just completed a year’s study called The Sexualisation Of Young People, the results of which recommend a large number of moves that should be taken that she believes will eventually curb violence amongst young people.

Celebrity Big Brother rolls on, with three fewer housemates than there were on Friday morning. Since then, an all girl trio of Katia Ivanova, Heidi Fleiss and – as of last night – Lady Sovereign have all been voted out. In this condensed celebrity format the nominations come thick and fast, and last night all housemates were asked to offer their two nominations live and against the clock immediately after Sov got the boot.

And finally some of the male contingent got nominated.

As it prepares for the final strait, Channel 4’s Celebrity Big Brother finds itself the subject of unlikely praise in the press and online with critics lining up to suggest the decision to make this series the last should be reversed.

And in all fairness, they may have a point. The in-mates selected this time around are a hundred times more entertaining than those in previous series – and Celebrity Big Brother has always been better value than the civilian version in which contestants are too often far too young, too brain-dead and lack self-awareness to the point they’re incapable of making decent television.
